Velore is a Sydney creative studio where art becomes a way of living, a way to express what words can't, to slow down, and to turn ordinary days into something more. We gather in the garden for the Alla Prima Garden workshop, high tea and floral painting in oils, and share original work to live with, inviting everyone into a creative life.
Creativity is the most human language there is. We give you the craft to say what words can't.

Dr. Ellie A. is the founder of Velore, an artist and dentist based in Sydney, Australia. She studied painting and sculpting at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA), America's oldest art school and museum, and works across sculpture, ceramics, and painting.
She founded Velore to share what art has given her: a way to express herself and to live with more intention and beauty. Moving between the hand-formed weight of clay and the considered surface of the painted canvas, her own practice carries the belief that runs through the whole studio, that a creative life is open to anyone willing to begin, at any level.
